The demand for medical cannabis products is still high in Germany.
Currently (October 2018) there are about 30.000 patients for medications.
According to estimates, betwenn 800.000 and 1 million patients are expected for Germany in the long term.
In the meantime, Canada has also become the second country (after Uruguay) to legalise leisure use, i.e. for people aged 18 years and over.
Germany didn´t legalise cannabis for leisure use, but the market for medical use of cannabis alone will be a billions market.
In the meantime, the german BfArM extended the time limit to make an admission for a cultivation licence in Germany.
The time limit was extended till 20th of November 2018, so that companies still have time to apply for a cultivation license.
